Groundbreaking Ceremony Marks the Beginning of NORA
A Revolutionary Development Poised to Transform Downtown West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, FL - NDT Development, Place Projects, and Wheelock Street Capital have joined forces to unveil NORA, a groundbreaking mixed-use district set to revolutionize downtown West Palm Beach. The ceremony, held on May 31, 2023, marked the start of this transformative project, which will repurpose former industrial buildings on North Railroad Avenue, demonstrating a commitment to adaptive reuse and sustainable development.

The first phase of NORA spans 154,000 square feet, combining historical preservation and modern construction. The district will feature newly constructed commercial buildings, as well as infrastructure and streetscape upgrades. Cobblestone streets, curbless sidewalks, and lush landscaping will create a curated pedestrian retail environment. NORA represents progress, innovation, and a brighter future. It will generate over 1,000 new jobs in West Palm Beach across retail, service, hospitality, and the creative sector, fostering entrepreneurship and supporting local businesses.

As the groundbreaking ceremony concludes, the transformation of downtown West Palm Beach begins. NORA sets a new standard for innovative development, adaptive reuse, and sustainable growth.

The completion of this development is slated for the end of 2024.
