Dear Friend --
The Green Party of California would like to inform you that our next General Assembly (GA) will be held in Alameda County. We intend for the GA to take place in mid to late May, however, in order to secure an affordable venue, Alameda Greens are considering all weekend dates from mid April to late May. The date and location will be announced as soon they are confirmed.
The General Assembly is the primary decision-making body of the GPCA and consists of delegates from each active county organization. Delegates are selected by the counties each July and serve as delegates to both the GA and the Online GA (the SGA).
GPCA Committees, Working Groups and County Organizations wishing to submit agenda items should notify the State Meeting Planning Committee ([email protected]) by March 11th and submit final text in this format by March 22nd. A draft agenda will be made available in early April. Registration will start in mid-April, and will include a vegetarian/vegan lunch and a light breakfast each day.
Please be on the lookout for further notices with additional details as they become available, including venue, agenda, registration and other important dates. This information is also available online at cagreens.org/ga.
If you have any questions please send them to [email protected].
We look forward to seeing you soon in Alameda County.
