Addressing the 108th term district governors, President Erdoğan said: "With their personal talents and efforts, our district governors have the opportunity to leave a mark wherever they go, to influence the lives of our people, and to have a great impact on the cities where they serve. Our district governors, who are the fair, compassionate and smiling face of the state towards the citizens, are obliged to be the hand of compassion and help that extends to the remotest corners of their areas of responsibility."
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the drawing ceremony for the placement of the 108th term district governorship course graduates Presidential Complex.
Congratulating 99 district governors, 12 of whom are women, who successfully completed the 108th term district governorship course, President Erdoğan said: "I wish our new district governors success in their duties and in their professional lives. I would like to take this occasion to remember with mercy all our administrators who were martyred in the line of duty, especially our Derik District Governor Muhammed Fatih Safitürk."

"Please always keep in mind that despite our different titles, we are all servants of our beloved nation. This is the primary duty of each and every element of the state power with its legislature, executive and judiciary. In this respect, there is no difference between the head of the state and the district governor. Each of us is obliged to serve all our 85 million people," President Erdoğan said.
Stating that serving people, solving their problems, contributing to the development and progress of cities is a great mission, President Erdoğan said: "Compared to other public officials, our local administrative chiefs carry a heavier responsibility by undertaking the task of coordinating all units of the state. With their personal talents and efforts, our district governors have the opportunity to leave a mark wherever they go, to influence the lives of our people, and to have a great impact on the cities where they serve. Our district governors, who are the fair, compassionate and smiling face of the state towards the citizens, are obliged to be the hand of compassion and help that extends to the remotest corners of their areas of responsibility."
