Tampa Parks & Recreation and the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation Badges for Baseball Program Host Multi-Sport Community Clinic

WHAT: The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation (CRSF), in partnership with the City of Tampa Parks & Recreation is hosting a Badges for Baseball multi-sport clinic for local underserved youth.

The clinic which will take place at the NFL Y.E.T. Center is the latest collaboration between CRSF, Tampa Parks & Recreation, the Tampa Police Department, and Tampa Fire Rescue, continuing a relationship that began in 2016 with the building of the Sulphur Springs Youth Development Park through CRSF's Youth Development Park program. Participating partner organizations also include the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, and Tampa Bay Rowdies.

Created in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Justice, Badges targets America's most vulnerable youth, including those in low-income families, single-parent homes, and children of active military members.
