Provide your Feedback on Life an Disability Benefits for MAPE Members

The State of Minnesota contracts with insurance companies to provide employee benefits for life insurance and short- and long-term disability insurance. Information about those current benefits can be found on SEGIP's website (here and here) and the MAPE/State of Minnesota contract (p. 75 and p. 80). The benefits have been the same for quite some time, but the State has begun a procurement process to select vendors for a new contract. It is possible, depending on the products and services offered by the applicant vendors, that a new contract could result in different products and services than we have now.

MAPE has a representative on the evaluation team as part of the labor/management relationship with SEGIP. Before the evaluation process begins, we'd like your feedback about the current benefit, and your suggestions for ways to improve it. Please take a few minutes to fill out the 11-question survey.
