Banca Transilvania kicks off this year's afforestation and volunteering actions

Banca Transilvania, together withBeard Brothers Association, organized an afforestation action in Cluj county (Maia village), on 13 April this year. More than 400 volunteers, including bank employees, afforested an area of 5.5 hectares.

Since 2014 and so far, BT has invested more than 500,000 euros in afforestation and green volunteering actions , which means:

• A greener country:
  • 90 hectares afforested in different localities;
  • 300,000 trees planted;
• Building a community of volunteers: more than 13,000 people have participated in such initiatives over the years.

The next action will take place on 20 April this year, together with the Electric Castle team, also in Cluj county (Bonțida).

By contributing to these programmes, Banca Transilvania gets involved in the life of communities and encourages volunteering.
