Biohope, a leading research and development company in the field of precision medicine, is pleased to report its participation in the recent 51st Andalusian Congress of Nephrology (SAN), held in Seville from April 24 to 26, 2024.

Biohope was present at the congress, where there was a round table discussion sharing the latest advances in the development of in vitro diagnostic (IVD) tools for chronic inflammatory conditions, with a special emphasis on the Immunobiogram. Under the title of the table "New Tools in Kidney Transplantation," Dr. Alicia Mendiluce, Head of the Nephrology Service at the Clinical Hospital of Valladolid, gave a lecture on "The Immunobiogram and its potential utility in Kidney Transplantation" with great attendance and interest from the attendees.

In this presentation, the Immunobiogram was introduced, a patented in vitro diagnostic device that combines a unique bioassay with database analysis software, allowing physicians to optimize immunosuppressive therapy on an individualized basis in kidney transplant patients. The results of clinical studies conducted by Biohope support the effectiveness of Immunobiogram and have been published in international scientific journals.

The SAN Congress has been a great opportunity for Biohope to share its experience and knowledge with the Andalusian medical community specialized in transplants. The company is proud to contribute to the progress of organ transplantation in Spain and looks forward to continuing to collaborate closely with professionals and experts in the field of Kidney Transplantation.

"We are delighted to have been able to participate in the SAN Congress and share our work on Immunobiogram," says Isabel Portero, CEO and founder of the company. "We believe that our technology has the potential to significantly improve clinical outcomes for kidney transplant patients.".

The Andalusian Society of Nephrology (SAN) aims to promote information, communication, and cooperation among its members, serving as a valid and reliable source of information for people with kidney disease. The National Congress of the SAN in Seville has been an excellent opportunity for scientific updating and the exchange of ideas in this field.
