MAXWELL AFB ENTRANCE GATE SHUT DOWN DUE TO MAJOR WATER MAIN BREAK

A significant water main break has occurred at the Maxwell AFB entrance gate located on Maxwell Blvd. As a result, vehicle entry is unavailable and will be redirected to the Kelly St. and Day St. Gates. Access to the Visitors Center will be restricted during this period. The repair works are anticipated to last approximately two weeks.

Traffic Engineering and the Montgomery Police Department are working closely with Maxwell AFB to establish an alternative route plan.
