“We are embarking on the path to the Century of Türkiye from Afyon”

Speaking at the Afyonkarahisar Rally, President Erdoğan said: "The path to our Republic had started with the victory achieved in Afyon. And today, on the centenary of our Republic, we are embarking on the path to the Century of Türkiye from Afyon once again."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the Afyonkarahisar Rally held at Zafer Square.

Delivering a speech at the event, President Erdoğan congratulated the citizens' upcoming Eid al-Fitr, and said: "As you know, last August we had embraced each other on the centenary of the Great Offensive. During that visit, besides coming together after a long time, we had also remembered with examples the gallantry Afyon had displayed throughout the National Struggle. The path to our Republic had started with the victory achieved in Afyon. We had set off our path from Afyon as well when we had founded our party on August 14, 2001. And today, on the centenary of our Republic, we are embarking on the path to the Century of Türkiye from Afyon once again."
