WCBOE Seeks Public Comment on Proposed Changes to its Heat Acclimatization Policy

Hagerstown, MD (October 20, 2021) - On October 20, 2021, the Washington County Board of Education ("Board") approved the first reading of proposed changes to Policy JHG, entitled "Student-Athletes - Preseason Practice Heat Acclimatization."

The Board's Policy Committee ("Committee") is seeking comments from the community at this time on the proposed changes to the policy, which is attached. You may submit your comments electronically or by U.S. mail on or before October 29, 2021, to the members of the Committee and to the staff liaison to the Committee at the following addresses:
