SPEAKER ŞENTOP GOES TO SKOPJE
Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Mustafa Şentop, will meet with the Speaker of the North Macedonian Parliament, Talat Caferi, and North Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski during his two-day visit to Skopje. Şentop, after his official contacts, will participate in the programs organized as part of the "Turkish Education Day" celebrations, known as the Turkish Feast in North Macedonia. Speaker Şentop who will also attend the official opening ceremony of the Skopje campus of the International Maarif School, will visit the International Balkan University and Şule Yüksel Şenler Dormitory for Girls and meet with the students

Şentop, emphasized the importance of the mutual efforts to move the relations between Türkiye and North Macedonia further and expressed his satisfaction with the level that the relations between the Parliaments have reached through a joint effort. Şentop said, "We should develop these good relations at the bilateral level as well as on multilateral platforms." Şentop stated that the recent problems, both at the regional and global level, rendered it necessary to act together and continued as follows: "The preservation of peace and stability in the Balkans is also extremely important for the security of Europe." Speaker Şentop also drew attention to the terrorist organization FETO structures in North Macedonia. Şentop expressed Türkiye's expectation of concrete steps regarding the dissolution of FETO-affiliated structures and the deportation of individuals linked to the organization from North Macedonia.
