The University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and the University of Vermont Health Network, are presenting the 2023 Health Equity Summit: Closing the Margin: Avenues to Health Equity on October 29 and 30. This joint effort aims to address health disparities and inequities within local and global communities. The summit will kick-off on the 29th from 4-6 p.m. with poster presentations and a reception, followed by a full day of workshops and sessions on October 30 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The free event will be held at UVM's Dudley H. Davis Center.

Stronger Together: Uniting for Health Equity

The Health Equity Summit serves as a vital platform to confront health disparities and institutional inequities. The event aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and actionable strategies for improved health outcomes, enhanced patient experiences, and the advancement of health equity.

Participants will engage in an interactive dialogue, discussing health equity, disparities, and innovation. The summit features keynote presentations and panel discussions led by Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) experts and thought leaders.
