Street closures and permitted events for April 25-May 1

Here are the locations of upcoming permitted events and road closures so you can plan accordingly. Please drive slowly and safely in construction zones and around crowded events.

Friday, April 26 and 27

• Full closure of northbound and southbound SR-55 between Edinger Avenue and Dyer Road due to installation of power lines
  • 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly

Saturday, April 27

• Closure spanning from Flower to Bush streets and from 17th Street to Santa Ana Boulevard for Santa Ana Fun Run
  • 2 a.m. to 12 p.m. (access available for Library event at 10:30 a.m.)
• Birch Park
  • Event Hours: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Closure on North Park at Benton Way

• • Event Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• One traffic lane only eastbound and southbound at the intersection of First Street and Newhope Street for paving
  • 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• One traffic lane only both eastbound and westbound on Civic Center Drive between Bristol Street and Pacific Avenue for paving
  • 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Monday, April 29-May 5

• Rolling road closures eastbound 4th street from Ross and French streets for OC Streetcar construction
  • 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day

Through May 31

• Full closure westbound on 3rd Street between Bush and French streets for construction
  • 24 hours a day
• No parking on 3rd Street between Bush and French streets for construction
  • 24 hours a day

• One traffic lane westbound on Segerstrom Avenue between Bristol Street and Flower Street
  • 24 hours a day

If a weather event occurs on the anticipated start date, the street closures for construction activity will be delayed until the weather clears.
