New Technology to Support a Traveling Workforce

Maximize Screen Space without a Desktop

Working on the go most likely means working from a laptop. DUEX's recently crowd-funded portable laptop monitors give you a dual-monitor experience on a laptop screen. Offered in two models-DUEX Plus and DUEX Lite-the screen extender attaches to the back of your laptop with included magnets and slides out from behind your laptop screen on either side, connecting the display via USB.

The Plus model is slightly larger at 13.3 in. compared to the Lite's 12.5, and also offers an auto-rotation mode and additional USB ports. Both versions are light weight, high speed, and energy efficient with eye-care mode and 180° rotation.

Powerbank Designed for Outdoor

One benefit to remote work is not being tied to a desk or designated work station. However, that also comes with its challenges, like making sure you have the power to keep all your devices charged and running. For anyone thinking of taking advantage of Canoo's new truck for truly remote working, carrying an extra powerbank is a good idea. A rugged, all-condition powerbank like Nitecore's NPB4 is an even better idea.

The NB4 is small enough to fit in your pocket, but offers enough stored power to charge an iPhone 12 six times. It's fully submersible/waterproof with overcharge, short-circuit, and thermal protection. With dual USB-A and USB-C ports, the bank can quickly charge up to three devices at once.

Three-in-One Emergency Protection

Rounding up our list is a device that is less to cover remote work convenience, and more of a practical gadget to take with when you travel. Mophie's Powerstation Go w/rugged with air compressor is a portable battery with USB ports, air compressor, and car jump starter. It's a great backup device to keep on-hand for any kind of travel or even just to store in your vehicle for peace of mind protection.

The internal battery and USB charging ports keep you from worrying about going without power, but despite its name, it's more than just a powerstation. The Powerstation Go also includes an air compressor with universal nozzle to inflate anything from vehicle tires to air mattresses and serves as a portable vehicle jump starter. The powerbank comes with mini jumper cables and can start a full-sized truck or 12V vehicle battery in seconds.

The device also combines rugged practicality with modern technology. For example, the adjustable air setting lets you set the desired pressure level on an LCD screen to ensure you get the right amount of air for your intended application. And, safety features including easy-to-read indicator lights, spark-proof jumper cables, and automated checks help make the jump start safe and easy.
