Columbus, OH (May 14, 2024)

Franklin University, one of the leading educators of working adults, is proud to announce it has once again been named a 2024-2025 Military Friendly® School, a testament to its unwavering dedication to those who have served our nation. Earning the distinguished Top 10 Graduate Schools Gold level accolade reinforces Franklin University's steadfast commitment, underscoring a remarkable 15-year legacy of being recognized as a Military Friendly® School.

Moreover, Franklin University also garnered special acknowledgment as a Military Spouse Friendly® Graduate School, securing an impressive ninth-place ranking. This supplementary recognition celebrates the institution's ongoing efforts while also reaffirming its position as a leader in providing exceptional opportunities for military-affiliated individuals and their families to pursue their educational goals.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2024-2025 survey, with 537 earning special awards for going above the standard. The 2024-2025 Military Friendly® Schools list will be published in the May and October issue of G.I. Jobs magazine and can be found at www.militaryfriendly.com.

Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by Viqtory with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining the institution's survey scores with the assessment of the institution's ability to meet thresholds for Student Retention, Graduation, Job Placement, Loan Repayment, Persistence (Degree Advancement or Transfer) and Loan Default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.

"I was searching for a doctoral university to complete my Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) degree that offered not only an accredited curriculum but the flexibility to maintain a career and family while pursuing my degree," shared Aubrey Williams, Franklin University's current DHA student. "Franklin University has demonstrated a commitment to supporting me and my military family in pursuing my academic goals. The faculty care about my success and are always willing to help. I am the wife of an active duty Air Force officer, a mother, and working full-time for the federal government, so it is important to me to find a university that offers flexibility with schedules and curriculums. Franklin University understands the unique challenges that come along with a military family. Even with moving across the country to our next duty location in May, I know I will have the support to remain on track with my educational goals."

The University's adult-focused services, in-demand programs, and free support resources deliver a learning experience built to serve military and veteran students through:
• Priority registration
• Graduation cord designation
• Centralized advising
• VA benefit support
• Military and veteran-specific scholarships
• Military student lounge
• Special undergraduate tuition of $250 per credit hour
• Reduced military master's degree rate of $536 per credit hour

As a Military Friendly® School, Franklin University helps set the standard of personal, dedicated support to military and veteran students, providing a clear pathway from earning a degree to successful career attainment.

"Military Friendly® is committed to transparency and providing consistent data-driven standards in our designation process. Our standards provide a benchmark that promotes positive outcomes and support services that better the educational landscape and provide opportunity for the Military Community. This creates a competitive atmosphere that encourages colleges to evolve and invest in their programs consistently. Schools who achieve awards designation show true commitment in their efforts, going over and above that standard." - Kayla Lopez, National Director of Military Partnerships, Military Friendly®.
