Scrutiny Management Committee Public Hearing - Committee for Health & Social Care

The Scrutiny Management Committee (SMC) is holding a public hearing with the Committee for Health & Social Care at the Castel Douzaine Room between 15:30 and 17:30 on Thursday 2nd May 2024.

The SMC Panel will include Deputy Yvonne Burford (Chair), Deputy Simon Fairclough, Deputy Peter Roffey and Deputy Andrea Dudley-Owen.

This is a formal parliamentary proceeding and therefore members of the public are welcome to attend in an observational capacity, however, are not able to ask questions or make any comment whilst the hearing is in progress.

Deputy Yvonne Burford, President of the Scrutiny Management Committee, commented:

"Recently, the Committee for Health & Social Care has been the focus of political and public scrutiny due to developments surrounding the hospital modernisation project. This public hearing will focus principally on developments relating to this significant project as well as the major issues and general budgetary pressures currently affecting health and social care. I welcome this opportunity to carefully examine these issues."
