KENNEDY CENTER ENGAGEMENT OF
MARIINSKY BALLET,
APRIL 26-MAY 1, 2022, CANCELED

(WASHINGTON)-The April 26-May 1, 2022, engagement of the Mariinsky Ballet in the Kennedy Center Opera House, scheduled to bring George Balanchine's Jewels, has been canceled.

Due to multiple factors, principally the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic-related conditions, the Kennedy Center and Mariinsky Ballet have mutually concluded that this year's engagement is not possible at this time. The Center and the Company look forward to future visits in the coming seasons. The Center does not have plans to replace the engagement with another ballet company at this time.

Patrons will have the options of donating tickets and receiving a tax deduction for the total ticket value; exchanging tickets for an alternate show (where possible); exchanging tickets for a Kennedy Center gift certificate, or receiving a full refund for the value of the ticket and associated fees.
