March 28, 2024
Washington D.C.- Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) toured Concord University in Athens, West Virginia to learn about the school's new educational programs. Congresswoman Miller also met with the director of Bluefield Economic Development Authority (EDA) to discuss economic updates in Bluefield, West Virginia.

Congresswoman Miller visited Concord University's campus where she met with faculty to walk through the new programs that the school is offering to its students and to discuss plans for future opportunities.

"I enjoyed hearing about the fascinating programs and opportunities that Concord University has put together for its students. Education is invaluable and it's important that students and faculty both feel that they have the proper resources, finances, and support to help better the education system so that every generation can feel ready for whatever opportunity may come their way," said Congresswoman Miller.

Congresswoman Miller later met with Bluefield Economic Development Authority to discuss economic updates in Bluefield.

"The Economic Development Authority plays an immensely important role in the Bluefield Community. Their investment in families and small businesses fuels economic growth. I look forward to supporting business owners in Bluefield by continuing to work alongside the EDA,"said Congresswoman Miller.
