State Police in Troop G make notable DWI arrests 4/5- 4/10

On April 6, 2024, at about 12:43 a.m. State Police of Clifton Park stopped a vehicle on State Route 9 in Halfmoon, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as David L. Hall, 55, of Albany, NY. Hall was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Clifton Park for processing, where he recorded a 0.19% BAC. Hall was issued tickets returnable to the Halfmoon Town Court on May 1, 2024, and released.

On April 6, 2024, at about 6:11 p.m., State Police of Clifton Park responded to the reports of an impaired driver in the area of Southside Drive in Clifton Park, NY. A vehicle matching the caller's description was located in the area of Evergreen Avenue in Clifton Park, NY. The driver was identified as Jeffrey J. Cukrovany, 44, of Clifton Park, NY. Cukrovany was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Clifton Park for processing, where he recorded a 0.22% BAC. Cukrovany was issued tickets returnable to the Clifton Park Town Court on May 1, 2024, and released to a sober third party.

On April 7, 2024, at about 12:28 p.m., State Police of Mayfield responded to the area of County Road 102 in Mayfield, NY, for the report of a one-car crash off the roadway. The driver was identified as Kirsten M. Edwards, 61, of Gloversville, NY. Edwards was evaluated by EMS and transported to Nathan Littauer Hospital for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries. She was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. A sample was taken to determine the alcohol content of her blood. Further investigation discovered that Edwards has had a previous DWI conviction in the last ten years. She was processed at SP Mayfield and issued tickets returnable to the Mayfield Town Court on April 23, 2024, before being released to a sober third party.
