NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATIONS

LAS 34535, LAS 34536, LAS 34537, LAS 34538

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that Coffey Farm, P.O. Box 254, Nenana, Alaska 99760 applied for permits to appropriate water on April 18, 2023. The applications propose the following:

LAS 34535 - The withdrawal of up to 18 acre-feet/year from May 1^st through August 31^st each year from a well to be drilled within lot 9 of block 1, of the Alaska State Land Survey NO. 2021-16, Nenana-Totchaket Subdivision, Phase 1A, according to the plat recorded in the Nenana Recording District on March 1^st, 2022, as plat NO. 2022-1, containing 21.31 acres, more or less.

LAS 34536 - The withdrawal of up to 18 acre-feet/year from May 1^st through August 31^st each year from a well to be drilled within lot 10 of block 1, of the Alaska State Land Survey NO. 2021-16, Nenana-Totchaket Subdivision, Phase 1A, according to the plat recorded in the Nenana Recording District on March 1^st, 2022, as plat NO. 2022-1, containing 21.32 acres, more or less.

LAS 34537 - The withdrawal of up to 18 acre-feet/year from May 1^st through August 31^st each year from a well to be drilled within lot 3 of block 2, of the Alaska State Land Survey NO. 2021-16, Nenana-Totchaket Subdivision, Phase 1A, according to the plat recorded in the Nenana Recording District on March 1^st, 2022, as plat NO. 2022-1, containing 21.62 acres, more or less.

LAS 34538 - The withdrawal of up to 60.03 acre-feet/year from May 1^st through August 31^st each year from a well to be drilled within lot 13 of block 1, of the Alaska State Land Survey NO. 2021-16, Nenana-Totchaket Subdivision, Phase 1A, according to the plat recorded in the Nenana Recording District on March 1^st, 2022, as plat NO. 2022-1, containing 91.85 acres, more or less.

The proposed purposes of use are for commercial agricultural irrigation.

Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above-listed address or to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on May 14^th, 2024. Objection must include the objector's name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
