A teenager has died following a plane crash in Sydney's south west.
About 3.15pm today (Wednesday 24 January 2024), emergency services were called to Brownlow Hill Loop Road, Brownlow Hill, following reports a light plane had crashed.
Officers from Camden Police Area Command attended, along with NSW Ambulance, and Fire and Rescue NSW.
The pilot and sole occupant of the plane - believed to be a 16-year-old boy - died at the scene; he is yet to be formally identified.
Police established a crime scene which is being forensically examined.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has been notified and commenced an investigation into the circumstance surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
