American Express and Marriott Bonvoy Launch New Bevy Card and Enhance Luxury Brilliant Card
The new and refreshed Consumer Cards offer travel and everyday benefits with more ways to earn points, new travel perks, and Marriott Bonvoy Elite Status

NEW YORK - Today, American Express and Marriott Bonvoy®, Marriott International's award-winning travel program, launched the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy™ American Express® Card and refreshed the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Cardto offer more value to Card Members with rewards across restaurants, lifestyle, and Marriott Bonvoy stays. Marriott Bonvoy Consumer and Business American Express Cards will also feature a new design inspired by the Marriott Bonvoy brand and, starting today, welcome offers for new Card Members.
These Cards are designed for consumers seeking to accumulate more points that can be redeemed at more than 8,100 hotels and resorts participating in the Marriott Bonvoy program. This includes the largest portfolio of luxury and lifestyle properties, All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy, and more than 70,000 premium rentals on Homes and Villas by Marriott International globally.
According to new data from an American Express and Marriott Bonvoy survey1, 70% of consumers surveyed say they are prioritizing travel in 2023 and 84% are looking for experiences to make their trips more memorable. Consumers surveyed also agree they would travel more if they had free hotel nights to use (86%), if they could earn even more credit card points on purchases (69%), and if they got perks like late checkout or free breakfast on every trip (66%).

The New Marriott Bonvoy Bevy American Express Card
The Marriott Bonvoy Bevy American Express Cardis designed for travelers who want to earn points quickly on everyday purchases and Marriott Bonvoy stays so they can redeem for free nights on their next trip with friends or family.

- 6X Marriott Bonvoy Points on purchases at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy®
- 4X Marriott Bonvoy Points on up to $15,000 in combined purchases per year at restaurants worldwide and at U.S. supermarkets
- 2X Marriott Bonvoy Points on all other eligible purchases
- 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy Bonus Points with each qualifying stay
- Complimentary Gold Elite status
- A Free Night Award (redemption level at or under 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points) after making $15,000 in purchases per year. Certain hotels have resort fees.
- 15 Elite Night Credits each calendar year toward higher Elite Status

Enhancements to Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express Card
Effective today, the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express Card will give Card Members even more luxury Marriott Bonvoy benefits to enjoy.

- NEW: Complimentary Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite Status
- NEW: 1 Free Night Award each year after Card renewal month that can be used for 1 night at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy. Certain hotels have resort fees.
- NEW: Up to $300 back per calendar year (up to $25/month) on dining purchases at restaurants worldwide
- NEW: 25 Elite Night Credits each calendar year
- Up to $100 property credit towards qualifying charges at The Ritz-Carlton (excluding Ritz-Carlton Reserve) and St. Regis hotel brands when Card Members book direct using a special rate for a 2+ night stay
- NEW: Annual Earned Choice Award: Each calendar year (starting January 2023) after making $60K in purchases, Card Members can select an Earned Choice Award benefit

This poll was paid for by American Express and conducted by Morning Consult between August 31-September 5, 2022 among a sample of 2,000 general population travelers with a household income of at least $70K and are defined as adults who typically travel by air at least once a year. The interviews were conducted online. Results from the full survey have a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points.
