Happy Thanksgiving from AG Todd Rokita and Family

Friends,

As we pause this Thanksgiving, may we count the blessings bestowed on our lives by our Heavenly Father. Blessings of family, friends, and community. As we gather amongst relatives and neighbors, may we reflect on the gifts in our lives.

This year, I'm especially grateful to all of you who have been supportive of our ongoing fight for liberty. I left the private sector to run for office again because I saw too many of our cherished freedoms slipping away. Since the first Thanksgiving, Americans have humbled themselves before God, knowing that liberty is often taken for granted. Knowing that these liberties come from the Almighty, not from the government.

From William Bradford to George Washington to Abraham Lincoln to Charlie Brown to today, one thing about Thanksgiving has remained steadfast: We are a blessed people living in the most exceptional nation the world has ever known.

As the Rokita family gathers today, we will reflect on the words of Psalms 100:4-5: "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations." From our family to yours: Happy Thanksgiving! We are truly grateful for all your love, support, and your unwavering commitment to liberty.
