Alumna Named 2024 Novi Community School District Educator of the Year

LIVONIA, MICH. - Heather Steward (MAT '04), a dedicated kindergarten teacher at Deerfield Elementary School, has been named the 2024 Novi Community School District Educator of the Year. With a 23-year career marked by a commitment to her students and unwavering support for their families, Stewart has fostered a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for all.

Stewart's dedicated extends beyond traditional classroom instruction. She champions the inclusion of children with special needs, learning disabilities, and visual impairments, seamlessly integrating them into her classroom.
