2024.03.20 An Opportunity for Illinois Artists

The Illinois Arts Council Agency has partnered with the Capital Development Board's Art-in-Architecture Program in promoting an opportunity for Illinois artists. The Art-in-Architecture Program of the Capital Development Board is pleased to announce a Request for Qualifications to Illinois professional artists for the purchase of permanent original art.

The College of Lake County Lakeshore Campus (CLC), is seeking to purchase artwork from multiple artists that celebrates the vibrant and diverse Waukegan community. CLC explicitly values diversity of individuals, cultures, thought, and expression-making students feel represented when they walk through its doors.

Budget Details

The total budget is $71,635 and will be used to purchase artwork from artists in a variety of media and themes. The College is interested in purchasing "mini-series" from multiple artists.
