Southside Bank Celebrates Completion of West Frank Branch Remodel

LUFKIN, Texas, January 27, 2023 - Team members from Southside Bank, members from the Lufkin Chamber of Commerce, and community members gathered on Thursday, January 26^th for a ribbon cutting and celebration of Southside's newly renovated branch, located at 2510 West Frank Street in Lufkin.

Customers may have already seen the modern, innovative design showcased at the Bank's sister location on South Timberland Dr. in Lufkin and other branches throughout East Texas.

"At Southside, we truly strive to provide the best customer service and experience during every single transaction," said Sherri Anthony, Southeast Texas Market Manager for Southside Bank. "This renovation is a reflection of that commitment of excellence to our customers. We are thrilled to be able to share it with the community."

Codie Jenkins, Southeast Texas Market President, discussed how the newly remodeled branch brings strength to the growing bank and community. "Southside Bank is committed to providing the best service possible to Lufkin/Angelina County. This branch remodel will allow us to do just that. We believe the investment we made to remodel and modernize this facility, is an investment and commitment to this community."

In addition to a full-service retail branch, the West Frank location services commercial banking, commercial lending, as well as Southside's Wealth Management and Trust department for the Southeast Texas region.

Construction on the project began in November 2021 and was fully completed in January 2023.

The Bank lobby is open Monday thru Thursday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and on Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The drive-thru is open Monday thru Friday, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm. Additionally, the branch has an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), which allows customers to interact with a live teller to complete banking needs virtually. The ITM is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, and Saturdays, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. As always, the deposit taking ATM is open 24 hours a day.
