Abilene's Splash Pads Set to Open Saturday, May 4, 2024

Splash Pads are opening up across the City of Abilene after mechanical issues delayed the season's scheduled start.

All splash pads will open on Saturday, May 4, except for the new Coach James Valentine location. The Parks & Recreation Department is working on arrangements for a grand opening and ribbon cutting for the new location at 1317 N Pioneer Drive.

Adventure Cove will open on Saturday, May 18, with the regular season beginning May 25.
