Truck toll mileage index, March 2024
-1.0% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
-0.6% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)

KÖLN/WIESBADEN- The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways decreased by 1.0% in March 2024 compared with February 2024, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index was 0.6% lower than in March 2023.
