Raumati Reads Summer Reading Programme – Glenfield Library

Raumati Reads Summer Reading Programme is available to children aged 5 - 10 years.

This summer is the perfect time to come to Glenfield Library and join in the fun!

Registrations for our Raumati Reads Challenges open 9 December 2024 - come to the library to get your programme. Check out our Facebook page for up-to-date information.

07 December 2024 11am-12pm - Fly Me to the Moon:

Join Celine Sumic as she teaches us how to organise our space using the KonMari Method® - this presentation is specifically for children and teens (and their parents).

07 December 2024 2pm-3pm - Christmas Advent Calendar:

It's Christmas crafting time! We are re-purposing items to help you with your countdown to Christmas.

14 December 2024 2pm-3pm - Christmas Angel:

It's amazing what you can do with old sporting equipment! Make a special Christmas decoration by recycling old shuttlecocks.

21 December 2024 2pm-3pm - It's a Wrap:

Just in time to wrap up Christmas, create your own wrapping paper.

07 January 2025 10am-11am - Virtual Reality Headset:

View the world through a different lens! Make a simple Google Cardboard headset to take home. Bring your own cellphone.

08 January 2025 10am-11am - Nature Butterfly

Butterflies flitter in the garden… and in the library! Come and make a nature butterfly.

10 January 2025 10am-11am - Wire Figurines:

Get wired and create your very own sportsperson.
