The new seat of the Marshal's Office in Szczecin is open!

The event was attended by Olgierd Geblewicz, Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, and members of the Board of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship: Anna Bańkowska and Stanisław Wziątek. During the ceremony, Mostostal Warszawa was represented by Jorge Calabuig Ferre, Vice President of the Management Board, Marcin Sierpowski, Western Area Director, and Marcin Szymborski, Director of the Contracts Group.

- The new building of the Marshal's Office of the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship in Szczecin is an example of Mostostal Warszawa's professionalism and reliability. A huge contribution to the creation of this investment was made by a team of our best engineers, whom I thank for their efforts and commitment to this project - says Jorge Calabuig Ferre - I am proud that we were able to realize the only provincial government headquarters created within the framework of passive construction right here in Szczecin.

The new office building is located from now on Pilsudski Street and Mazowiecka Street, where a completely new facility, the so-called "passive building", was constructed. The two buildings have been connected by a special connector, which guarantees efficient communication.

The passive building has a total of 8 floors (2 underground, including parking lots). Its total area is about 14 thousand sqm. In addition to offices, the building will include small conference rooms. A large conference room, for more than 200 people, was built in the place of the former Dolphin Cinema.

The building, which was completed by Mostostal Warszawa, is the only provincial government headquarters in Poland created within the framework of passive construction. Through the use of a number of innovative solutions, the facility shows extremely low energy demand. This is confirmed by the BREEAM certificates awarded to both the existing building on Pilsudski Street and the new passive building on Mazowiecka Street.

The facility operates a BMS (Building Management System), which aims to efficiently manage energy, administer the facility and control all building systems while ensuring high air quality, thermal comfort, and adequate lighting.

The contract for this contract was signed on October 4, 2019.
