Update (October 31 at 10:15 am): The watermain break has been isolated and repairs are underway. Water pressure will increase but there may be fluctuations as the system stabilizes.

Diamond Avenue from Schram Street to Yellowhead Road will remain closed until the road condition is assessed and any required repairs are made. A timeline has not yet been determined for repairs to be completed.

October 31, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.: As of today, October 31, Diamond Avenue will be closed from Schram Street to Yellowhead Road as a result of a watermain break. City crews are aware and working to isolate and repair the issue. The community may also experience reduced water pressure as a result of the break.

Motorists can use South Avenue as an alternative. Please look for and follow all signage and barricades.
