Upcoming water projects on Happy Valley Road

The City of Nampa has two water projects scheduled on N. Happy Valley Road which will result in temporary full closures of the road.

To complete an irrigation line project ahead of the irrigation season, N. Happy Valley Road will be closed Friday, March 29, 2024 between E. Victory Road and E. Amity Road and be reopen by the end of the day.

Beginning Tuesday, April 2 at 9 a.m., N. Happy Valley Road will be closed for a domestic water service line installation between Airport Road and Victory Road. This is a full road closure, and the project is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3.

All customers will still have water services during construction. Attempts were made to coordinate the two closures, however, there were challenges with combining the detours. We want to remind drivers to please plan ahead and follow detours. Brown Bus and Nampa School District has been notified of the temporary closure.
