Four People Arrested at Demonstration,
Pelham Avenue and Osler Street area

The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of arrests made at a demonstration.

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at approximately 3:40 p.m., police were in the area of Pelham Avenue and Osler Street for a demonstration.

It is alleged that:

  • a group of demonstrators were in the area blocking railway tracks
  • officers were moving demonstrators off the tracks
  • four of the demonstrators refused to move when asked by officers
  • during the arrest, one of the demonstrators assaulted a police officer
  • the demonstrators caused delays and damage to the tracks

Megan Tay, 37, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:

  1. Assault Peace Officer
  2. Unlawful Assembly
  3. Mischief Over $5000
  4. Member of Unlawful Assembly While Masked
  5. Enter on Lane on Which a Line Work is Situated (Railway Safety Act)
  6. Fail to Give Way to Railway Equipment at a Road Crossing (Railway Safety Act)

She was scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 102.

Jessica Agnew, 30, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:

  1. Unlawful Assembly
  2. Mischief Over $5000
  3. Member of Unlawful Assembly While Masked
  4. Enter on Lane on Which a Line Work is Situated (Railway Safety Act)
  5. Fail to Give Way to Railway Equipment at a Road Crossing (Railway Safety Act)

She was scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 102.

Allen Blaine Osbourne Graham, 29, of Orillia, has been arrested and charged with:

  1. Unlawful Assembly
  2. Mischief Over $5000
  3. Member of Unlawful Assembly While Masked
  4. Enter on Lane on Which a Line Work is Situated (Railway Safety Act)
  5. Fail to Give Way to Railway Equipment at a Road Crossing (Railway Safety Act)

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 102.

Seth Brown Graham, 21, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:

  1. Unlawful Assembly
  2. Mischief Over $5000
  3. Member of Unlawful Assembly While Masked
  4. Enter on Lane on Which a Line Work is Situated (Railway Safety Act)
  5. Fail to Give Way to Railway Equipment at a Road Crossing (Railway Safety Act)

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 102.
