CMS Requests Comments on Development of LTSS Measures

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) contracted with the Lewin Group (Lewin) to maintain the managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS) quality measures and conduct re-specification of a subset of the MLTSS measures for participants receiving fee-for-service (FFS) LTSS. Each of the MLTSS and FFS LTSS measures is intended to be an aligned pair-collectively referred to as LTSS measures-but each measure will have separate technical specifications.

As part of its measure development process, Lewin requests interested parties to submit comments on the candidate or concept measures that may be suitable for this project. Find comment instructions here and submit by the August 28, 2023, deadline.
