Christopher to perform cello recital Feb. 8

NATCHITOCHES - Cellist Paul Christopher will present a recital at Northwestern State University on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 5:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. A livestream will be available at capa.nsula.edu/livestream.

The concert will include three works by composer Christian Wolff, "One Cellist," "Cello Suite Variation," and "Small Pieces for Cellist (Anton)."

Christopher is an associate professor of music theory and low strings at Northwestern State. His articles have been published in the Jacques Offenbach Society Newsletter, Strings, American String Teacher, and Bass World.
