For Engineers Week, Olsson Shares Advice for Next Generation of Engineers

Olsson is organizing several events to celebrate Engineers Week 2025. Firm employees will be visiting dozens of elementary school classrooms throughout their footprint to share their passion for engineering with students. During their classroom time, they'll challenge students to think like an engineer and have fun with a hands-on activity.

On Tuesday, Feb. 19, the company will host a Mystery Box Challenge. Teams of employees will showcase their engineering skills by using a "mystery box" full of random supplies to solve an engineering challenge. The winning team will receive the company's traveling E-Week trophy.

The company also created a video featuring several employees talking about how they turned their childhood interests into engineering careers and who inspired them. Olsson employees also share advice on how the next generation of engineers can design their own future. Check out the firm's YouTube video here.
