Man arrested for burglary in progress into a residence

On April 27, 2024, Troopers out of SP Batavia arrested Damien L. McCullough, 31 of Rochester, NY for Burglary 3^rd degree (D Felony), Burglary 2^nd degree and Petit Larceny.

On April 27, 2024, at 8:45 P.M., Troopers out of SP Batavia were dispatched to a residence on Lewiston Road in the town of Batavia for a burglary in progress. Troopers patrolled to the area and located the suspect on a bicycle with the caller following in a vehicle. Investigation determined that McCullough attempted to enter the residence by force after breaking into the shed and vehicle on the property. McCullough was arrested and processed at SP Batavia.
