WNC Wins Multiple Awards in Asiamoney's Outstanding Companies Poll 2023

Hsinchu, Taiwan - August 31, 2023 - Asiamoney magazine has announced the results of its Asia's Outstanding Companies Poll 2023. WNC took out the "Most Outstanding Company in Taiwan - Technology Hardware & Equipment Sector" category for the fourth year running and the "Most Outstanding Company in Taiwan - Small/Mid Caps Sector" category for the third year running. We were additionally honored this year to win "Most Outstanding ESG Enterprise" in Taiwan, a new category for the poll.

In recent years WNC has set improving climate resilience and sustainable development as the pillars of its strategic planning. This year, in addition to signing the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in response to the Paris Agreement and to accelerate our pursuit of emissions targets, we have also become a member of RE100, the 29th RE100 member from Taiwan and the first network communications company in Taiwan to join the initiative. WNC has pledged to achieve 100% renewable electricity usage across all its sites by 2040, create a low carbon ecosystem and build a sustainable industry environment.

In preparation for future sales expansion and demand from customers, WNC has expanded its global layout with a new factory and research center in the Southern Taiwan Science Park already commencing operations and the second phase of construction at our Vietnam site gathering pace. While improving business performance, we will continue to pursue our corporate social responsibilities, implement ESG measures together with all stakeholders, and exert a positive influence on society and the environment.

The Asia's Outstanding Companies Poll is an annual survey conducted by Asiamoney magazine, an internationally renowned financial publication. The magazine sends invitations to over a thousand fund managers, bankers, ratings agencies, and analysts across Asia and asks them to vote in the poll.
