Julius Baer proud to support iconic Montreux Jazz Festival in China

Hong Kong, 27 September, 2023 -Julius Baer is proud to partner with the internationally acclaimed Montreux Jazz Festival (MJF) and extend its Swiss partnership and commitment to Asia, working with the MJF to harmoniously connect cultures in a 'East meets West' bridge. In 2023, it is delighted to take this prominent event to Suzhou, China.

First introduced to China in 2021, the event has gained significant traction. The Montreux Jazz Festival China features a strong line-up for its second edition this year, inviting 140 musicians across 30 bands from China and overseas to perform at the Fairmont Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou, China, from September 27 to October 2, 2023.

Montreux Jazz Festival
The Montreux Jazz Festival was founded by Claude Nobs on the shores of Geneva Lake in Montreux, Switzerland in 1967. With 57 years of history, the festival has become a world-renowned top music festival, and has expanded from jazz to more diverse music genres, including blues, rock, pop, world music, rap, electronic, etc. Many legendary artists and bands, like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, Deep Purple, Bob Dylan have performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
