'No Parking' Zones in Washington Park Neighborhood

No Parking Anytime - Tow Away Zone

A recent review of parking capacity in the Washington Park neighborhood found choke points where emergency vehicles were unable to get through due to vehicles parked on both sides of the street. NO PARKING ANYTIME - TOW AWAY ZONE double arrow signs have been installed on one side of the street from Dewey Street to Plunkett Street between S 58^th Avenue to S 56^th Avenue. This measure is to ensure clear passage for emergency vehicles and to maintain smooth vehicular flow.

Enforcement of the new parking regulation in this neighborhood begins on Friday, October 6^th. Residents are asked to remove all vehicles from the no parking zone. Any vehicle remaining in the zone will be cited and/or towed at the owner's expense. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
