Minturn, Inc. from Brooklyn, IA is the contractor responsible for the Pickleball Court Project in Aurora Park. Their crew had favorable weather late last fall and made good progress. Some of the remaining checklist items are weather dependent, with minimum ground temperatures, as well as warm nighttime temperatures needed to correctly apply the court surfacing/ painting. The interior fencing, court surfacing, court line painting, and installation of two shade structures are the remaining check list items. The project completion deadline is May 31st. Citizen interest has been high, and staff is working with Minturn to get as quick a turnaround as possible to allow as much play as possible this season.
