Hall in Newsweek and ZDF Heute

Political Science Professor Bill Hall was quoted in Newsweek Magazine about how former President Donald Trump has transformed the Republican National Committee into his own personal campaign mechanism. Newsweek also quoted Hall about the valuation of Truth Social, a social media company partially owned by former President Donald Trump that has made a public stock offering. Hall was also interviewed by the German news magazine ZDF Heute on the same topic.

Rodney Discusses the State of Higher Education

School of Education Professor Basyr Rodney was interviewed live on KWMU (St. Louis Public Radio) about the state of higher education the United States. The full interview is online.

DEI Conference Keynote Speaker

The Rev. Starsky Wilson, who was the keynote speaker to Webster's DEI Conference this year, was interviewed by Carol Daniels on the Nine Network's podcast channel. His association with Webster and the conference were mentioned.

Polovina on the TOEFL Test Scores

Several international news organizations ran a wire story that said Universities in the US can validate TOEFL test scores through India-based study-abroad partners. Blerina Polovina, director of international admissions and business development, was quoted.

Dixon Interviewed About SOE's Doctor of Education Program

KDNL (ABC 30 St. Louis) interviewed Trezette Dixon about the School of Education's Doctor of Education program.

Ferguson and Beyond Art Show

St. Louis Magazine ran a short story about the "Ferguson and Beyond" art exhibit in the Cecille R. Hunt Gallery on the main campus. Gazelle Magazine also ran an article about the exhibit. KMOV ran a story about the show and repeated the story several times during its weekend coverage. The St. Louis American posted several clips from the show's opening on its social media accounts. The Riverfront Times covered the show's opening reception. Happening Next ran a short story about the show. KNPN (Fox News) in St. Joseph, Missouri also ran a story (clip not online).

Webster Alumna Worked on Oscar-Winning Film

Both KSDK and the St. Louis American had feature articles on Webster alumna Sharee Silerio, who worked on the production team of the documentary "The Last Repair Shop." That short film won the Oscar for best short documentary at the 2024 Academy Awards earlier this month.

Webster Named a Teach Out Institution for Fontbonne Students

KMOV ran a story about how Webster University has become a "teach out" university for Fontbonne students, allowing those students to complete their degrees with minimal interruption (clip not placed online).

Burton Named Chief Human Resources Officer

The St. Louis American ran a short story about Charles Burton being named the next chief human resources officer at Webster. The story ran in the "People on the Move" section in print during the week of March 16 but did not run online.

Jenifer Lewis Featured

Distractify, an online magazine, ran a feature story on Webster alumna Jenifer Lewis.

Webster Tashkent Named a Prestigious Institution

WEProject, an online news aggregator, ran an article about the 10 most prestigious universities in Tashkent. Webster was listed.

Kooyumjian Gallery Featured

HEC TV had a feature story on the Griselda San Martin art exhibit in the Kooyumjian Gallery in the Sverdrup Complex.

Webster Student Styx Napier Featured

Webster University double-major student (English/Journalism) Styx Napier was quoted in the Missourian about the transgender policies in the Washington School District.
