Good afternoon. Let me start today's briefing.

The forum, to be held ahead of the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan next year, will serve as an opportunity to review the current state of Korea-Japan relations and discuss the way forward for bilateral cooperation.
The forthcoming forum will be attended by experts on Korea-Japan relations, including incumbent and former government officials, academics, and representatives from associations for Korea-Japan exchanges.
