Man Arrested in Sexual Assault Investigation, Eglinton Avenue East and Midland Avenue area

The Toronto Police Service is notifying the public of an arrest made in a Sexual Assault investigation.

On Saturday, January 13, 2024, at approximately 8:30 a.m., police responded to a call for an Indecent Exposure in the Eglinton Avenue East and Midland Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

• the victim ordered a ride-share for transportation
• a male passenger was already in the car
• the victim got into the car
• while the car was in motion, the male passenger sexually assaulted the victim
• the victim exited the vehicle and called police

Mohammad Khan, 25, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:

1. Commit an Indecent Act in a Public Place
2. Sexual Assault

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 107.
