Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Suffolk County - The Town of Southampton Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Preserve at South Country Road available. The action involves a request for a zone change from Country Residence 40 (CR-40) to Multi-Family Planned Residential District (MFPRD) for one hundred and four (104) affordable rental units, on 17 acres, in order to construct seventy-eight (78) units for affordable housing lottery and one (1) manager's unit (total 79 units) with at least 25% set aside as open space and an additional 4 acres of woodlands set aside for Community Preservation or similar entity acquisition through conservation easements. The project is located at 670 Montauk Highway and 107 South Country Road in Quiogue, Town of Southampton, New York.
