The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a third arrest made in a homicide investigation.

See excerpt from previous news release published on Wednesday, February 7, 2024:

On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at approximately 1:28 a.m., police responded to a call for shooting in the Lansdowne Avenue and Bloor Street West area.

It is alleged that:

  • the victim was located with trauma to his body
  • life-saving measures were performed and the man was transported to hospital
  • the man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital and was pronounced deceased

The victim has been identified as Issaïh Jünger, 18, of Mississauga.

Hassan Farhat, 19, of Montreal, has been arrested and charged with:

  1. Second Degree Murder

Male youth*, 17, of Montreal, has been arrested and charged with:

  1. Second Degree Murder

Fadel Naim, 19, is wanted for:

  1. Second Degree Murder

On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, Dan Hakizimana, 19, of Ottawa, was arrested and charged with:

  1. Second Degree Murder

He is scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 301.
