A Kesi weaving experience activity was held at the Suzhou Tourist Information Center on Fenghuang Street. Hua Huiying, a municipal representative inheritor of Kesi weaving skills and her disciples were invited to make a live demonstration of this craft.

Kesi, a type of weaving done by the tapestry method in fine silks and gold thread, is one of Suzhou's representative intangible cultural heritages.
