Dr. William Fleming of Humana Becomes Chairman of PCMA Board of Directors

(Washington, D.C.) - Recently, the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA) announced Dr. William Fleming, President of Pharmacy Solutions and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Humana Inc., as the new chairman of its board of directors.

"I am honored to take on this role at this crucial time for the PBM industry," said Dr. Fleming. "Serving as PCMA's board chairman is an opportunity to continue to help our industry focus on improving health outcomes for patients while continuing our work to lower prescription drug costs."

In addition, Paul Marchetti, President of IngenioRx, also joins the board of directors. Mr. Marchetti has more than 25 years of payer and provider experience in healthcare delivery systems, business operations, product development, population health, and technology solutions.

PCMA is the national association representing America's pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) which administer prescription drug plans for more than 266 million Americans with health coverage through Fortune 500 companies, health insurers, labor unions, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, as well as the Exchanges established by the Affordable Care Act.
