Urban Homesteading in Buena Park: We Want Your Input!

The City of Buena Park is seeking the input of residents regarding an amendment to the municipal code that would expand the areas where urban homesteading activities are permitted. Urban homesteading allows community members to cultivate land, typically backyards (single-family) or common open space (multi-family), for personal use, community building, and food production. In addition to growing fruits, vegetables and herbs, cultivation may also include the keeping of small livestock (e.g. chickens, ducks, goats and pigs) as well as beekeeping.
