The winter flight schedule (valid from October 29, 2023) at Albrecht Dürer Airport Nuremberg includes not only the favorite destinations of the Franconians, but also many new routes. More than 40 destinations will be offered non-stop, with the focus on sunny Egypt, the Canary Islands, the new flight schedule highlight Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and significantly more flights to Turkey. Eurowings and Marabu Airlines, among others, will increase their commitment in Nuremberg.
Egypt is considered one of the most popular destinations in '23: With Eurowings, Corendon Airlines, Air Cairo and the new airline Marabu on behalf of Condor, four airlines are taking off for the land of the pyramids. Up to eleven weekly departures to Hurghada represent an unprecedented offer. The two popular vacation regions of Hurghada and Marsa Alam offer pure sunshine and pleasant bathing temperatures even in winter.
The Canary Islands are strongly represented with flights to Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote on board of Corendon Airlines, Eurowings, Marabu Airlines and Ryanair.
As early as October 16, Smartwings is launching three weekly nonstop flights from Nuremberg to Abu Dhabi on behalf of Etihad Holidays, including an attractive choice of hotels as package tours. The perfect combination of a beach vacation and exploring the dazzling metropolis on the Arabian Peninsula.
Spain is also very much in vogue: in addition to the Canary Islands and daily flights to Majorca, there is a wide range of flights to mainland Spain, where Barcelona can be reached non-stop with Vueling and Alicante, Valencia, Seville and Malaga can be reached several times a week with Ryanair, ensuring spring-like days even in winter.
Another popular winter destination is the evergreen Madeira and the Italian classic Palermo. In Turkey, the destinations Antalya and Izmir will be served. Izmir is now served continuously by SunExpress in the winter, while in Antalya Pegasus Airlines supplements the existing flight offerings of Corendon Airlines and SunExpress. The Greek city of Thessaloniki is back for the winter, with up to five flights a week.
City travelers can look forward to delightful trips to London with British Airways and Ryanair, Amsterdam with KLM, Paris with Air France, Vienna with Austrian Airlines, Zurich with Swiss, and Budapest, Sofia and Vilnius with Ryanair. Also worthwhile is the dazzling metropolis of Istanbul, which is served daily by Turkish Airlines and Pegasus. Further destinations in Eastern Europe with Wizz Air complete the flight schedule.
Intercontinental destinations worldwide can also be reached via the major European hubs, which are served several times a day from Nuremberg.
